Police said the girl, who is from the Dalit community, has alleged that she had been sexually abused from the age of 16. The alleged incident came to light when volunteers of the KeralaMahilaSamakhyaSociety met the girl, a district-level athlete, during a field visit. When she told them she wanted to share her ordeal, the volunteers informed the district ChildWelfareCommittee(CWC). However, he says, it offers something that few can — parking facilities.
